Meet Dr. Zimmer

Carolina Kids Dentistry is super excited to welcome Dr. Matt Zimmer to the practice! Dr. Matt is an experienced Pediatric Dental Specialist originally from Long Island, New York. He graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University and afterwards attended the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine on academic scholarship where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors in research. Dr. Matt completed his Pediatric Dentistry Residency training at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York and has been practicing in North Carolina since 2016.

Before Dr. Matt is a dentist caring for children, he is a dad of two boys and a couple of Maltese Poodles at home!

When outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Marisa and their family including playing tennis, pickleball, swimming, and spending the day on the lake. Dr. Matt is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
